Do we really live in a country where the mail is being sabotaged to prevent qualified citizens from voting?

I don’t know, but we should ALL be used to hearing stuff like this.

We’re in the final stages of a presidential campaign, which means Facebook is unmasked and sneezing rumor droplets; so you have to distance yourself.

Stay at least six feet away from any rumor that you haven’t personally checked out.

And then, if you’re still anxious about your mail-in ballot being counted – number one, if you’re not registered, register now!

Number two, if you’re in a state that makes you request a ballot, ask NOW.

Number three, when that ballot arrives – FILL IT OUT THE SAME DAY AND MAIL IT!

That will give the Post Office about two weeks to deliver it. Even if they have to sort it with their teeth, that should be plenty of time.

“But, Dave, I have to research the candidates first.”

Well, you’re stuck at home – do it now. And anyway, when it comes to President, what’s to research? You know who these guys are; they’re not going to change, so when the postal carrier delivers your ballot – heck, you could vote right there on the front porch and hand it back to him.

Bottom line: You’ll hear all sorts of reasons not to vote, but the ONLY reason not to vote … is if you’re dead. Because THAT could get you arrested.
