Woman in Aaron Reardon complaint wants $750K from Snohomish County

The woman who brought an end to former Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon’s promising political career is now claiming harassment and discrimination and has filed a complaint against the county.
Tamara Dutton wants $750,000 from Snohomish County, claiming she has been the subject of harassment and retaliation from co-workers, ever since the affair with executive Reardon became public in 2011.
The Everett Herald reports Dutton is offering to take the money in exchange for resigning and dropping all legal claims against the county.
It was an investigation into Dutton’s claims of a six-year affair that led to an investigation of Reardon’s alleged misuse of public funds and questionable campaign tactics.
No charges were ever filed. The campaign investigation continues.
Reardon resigned in May of this year.
