Man may have been dragged in fatal Seattle hit-and-run

Police are investigating a hit-and-run that left a man dead in Seattle on Sunday morning.

“Officers responded to a 911 call of a body lying in the street at the 1200 block of South Dearborn Street,” said Seattle Police Detective Jeff Kappel.

Kappel said medics pronounced the man dead at the scene. The street was closed for several hours during the investigation.

Investigators said it appeared the victim’s body had been dragged by a motor vehicle

So far, police have no description of the suspect or the vehicle.
