Police arrest burglary suspect who was barricaded inside Everett home

Police in Everett arrested a burglary suspect after a hours-long standoff Friday evening.
The Everett Herald reports people in the area of the 3800 block of Wetmore Ave. were asked to avoid the area after the man threatened police with a grenade.
Police said officers responded to a burglary in progress at the house.
The man told police he had a grenade and wasn’t afraid to use it, KING 5 reported.
No injuries were reported.
