Silas Potter, Jr. is back behind bars.
The former Seattle Public Schools official accused of cheating the district out of $250,000, missed a court appearance last month, leading to a warrant for his arrest.
The Seattle Times reports police caught up with him on Saturday. He was booked into King County Jail.
Potter, 60, is accused in a 42-count complaint of running a scheme that awarded contracts to firms that did little or no work.
Potter was previously arrested in Florida last year after failing to appear for his arraignment.
He returned to King County and bail was set at $100,000, eventually reduced to $10,000. Last week, he failed to show up for a pre-trial hearing which lead the judge to issue the bench warrant.
Investigators claim Potter and two co-defendants school district funds by awarding contracts to certain companies who performed little or no work. In some cases, prosecutors say Potter set up dummy businesses and issued fraudulent invoices.
His April trial date has been delayed until May 13.
