Body discovered in car in Redmond; may have been there for weeks

A body has been found in a car near an embankment in Redmond, and could have been there for weeks if not longer.

King County Sgt. Cindi West said they received a report Monday evening that a car had been discovered just off the road – in area people wouldn’t normally have been able to see.

West said someone was posting a sign in a field near Redmond Ridge Drive and Novelty Hill Road when they discovered the car. “Apparently the person went over to the vehicle and saw that there was a body inside.”

The sheriff’s department currently believes it was an undiscovered accident that happened quite some time ago.
