Shots fired at West Seattle house on Sunday

Jan 28, 2013, 9:13 AM | Updated: 9:15 am

A drive-by shooting Sunday left two West Seattle residents shaken up, but OK.

Seattle Police say a blue SUV pulled up in front of their house at 32nd Avenue Southwest and Southwest Othello.

“The suspect vehicle reportedly slowed down in front of this residence,” says Seattle Police Detective Mark Jamieson. “Then the person or persons inside the SUV fired several shots at this house. A couple of the rounds actually struck the house.”

Jamieson says shots went through the front door and a living room window. A man and woman were home at the time, but they were not hurt.

The suspect vehicle reportedly fled the scene, heading southbound.

Officers are continuing to investigate.
