‘Violent’ crash sends 2 to hospital, takes down power poles

Two power poles were knocked down in Lynnwood after a car crashed Monday morning. (KIRO 7)

A vehicle traveling at high speeds knocked down two power poles after it crashed in Lynnwood Monday morning.
KIRO 7’s Joanna Small says the “violent” crash occurred along 196th Street SW, between 24th Avenue and 21st Avenue.
The vehicle was traveling fast enough to split one pole in half when it crashed.
Two people were taken to the hospital.

Some Snohomish PUD customers lost power after the crash.
