One dead after crash on SR 9 in Snohomish County

One person died in a collision that blocked State Route 9, just north of State Route 2 in Snohomish County, for hours.
Washington State Trooper Mark Francis said there was alternating traffic on SR 9, causing long delays into King County.
Sad news folks. 1 deceased from a 2 veh coll on SR9 just N of SR2. North bound lane is blk. Alternating traffic. Avoid area if possible. TS
