Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell visited the KIRO Newsradio studio to wish Dave and Colleen well. He then went on to read a proclamation that honored Dave, calling Dec. 19 “Dave Ross Day.”

“Whereas the city of Seattle recognizes and celebrates the important contributions of Dave Ross that he’s made to our community in the field of journalism now. Therefore I, Bruce Harrell, proclaimed Dec. 19 to be Dave Ross Day.”
