A Burien Police Department (BPD) investigation led to the arrest of a suspect selling narcotics out of a restaurant and distributing drugs in multiple cities across Washington, BPD announced.

The suspect sold narcotics within 1,000 feet of a Bellevue middle school on several occasions. In total, BPD noted the suspect distributed narcotics in Burien, Woodinville, SeaTac, Shoreline, Bellevue, Kirkland, and Redmond.

In August, BPD received its initial tip of suspected narcotic activity inside a Burien restaurant. The Precinct 4 Special Emphasis Team (SET) conducted an investigation that identified the suspect was selling narcotics to customers at the restaurant.

A search warrant for the suspect and his Bellevue apartment was applied for and approved.

With assistance from K9 Quinn, the search warrant resulted in the seizure of 1.07 pounds of methamphetamine and cocaine, $51,787 in drug proceeds, a stolen 9mm handgun, and a 2020 Mustang used for drug trafficking.

The suspect was booked on two counts of investigation of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act, possession with intent to deliver with school zone enhancement, and one count of possession of a stolen firearm.
