Firefighters rescued three dogs from a burning apartment in Bothell Friday night.

Crews responded to a third-floor apartment fire in the 10200 block of Northeast 189th Street, the Bothell Fire Department reported via Facebook.

When firefighters arrived, they saw heavy smoke coming from the building.

They learned the resident was able to extinguish the fire before crews got there.

Firefighters subsequently ventilated the unit and rescued the resident’s three dogs. No injuries were reported.
