2 men dead after car crashes into pole, bursts into flames in Kent

Two men died after their car crashed into a pole and caught on fire in Kent on Sunday.

The crash occurred at approximately 1 a.m. at 68th Avenue S., according to KIRO 7.

As officers arrived, they located the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. Once first responders extinguished the flames, they found two men, ages 38 and 44, both dead inside the vehicle.

Witnesses told law enforcement that the vehicle was traveling southbound and had possibly sideswiped another car before crashing into the pole.

The Kent Police Traffic Unit responded to the scene to investigate and will determine the events leading up to the accident.
