SR 18 reopens in both directions after fatal crash

SR 18 has reopened in both directions after a fatal crash Wednesday.

The highway was closed due to a collision involving a semi-truck and a vehicle, Eastside Fire and Rescue reported around 12:30 p.m.

Fire crews responded to the scene near milepost 21.

Eastside Fire and Rescue was caring for a patient, who later died.

The scene was turned over to the Washington State Patrol for investigation.
