Olympic National Forest fire crews fighting fire near High Steel Bridge

Olympic National Forest fire crews are reportedly responding to a fire just below the High Steel Bridge on the south side of the forest, as of 1:36 p.m. Monday.

The High Steel Bridge is west of Skokomish on Forest Road 2340.

According to a post on Facebook, the fire is “small,” but they are urging anyone close by to stay away for now until the fire is under control.
