Summer movie nights are back, and all you need is a blanket and a lawn chair. Pierce County Parks’ Movies in the Park series is continuing this month with free screenings of “Togo” on July 17 and “Lilo & Stitch” on July 24 at Meridian Habitat Park. Be sure to arrive early for games, food trucks, and other preshow activities before the movies begin at dusk. Get more details here.

Outdoor Cinema Series

For those near or around Puyallup, grab a blanket, pack a few snacks, and head to the park for a free movie under the stars. Puyallup’s Outdoor Cinema Series is continuing this summer with screenings of “Zootopia 2” on July 17 at the Puyallup Valley Sports Complex, “Cars” on July 31 at Bradley Lake Park, and “Goat” on Aug. 14 at Bradley Lake Park. Movies begin when the sun goes down and concessions will be available for purchase before the show. Each night, attendees can additionally bring non-perishable food items or hygiene products and donate to the Puyallup Food Bank. Learn more here.

A Car Show with a Good Cause
