Kirkland-based consulting firm OneAccord this week announced the release of “The Field Guide to the New Economy,” a two-volume series on AI adoption published by its When2AI Imprint.
Written by OneAccord Principal J.R. Convey, the series is designed to help operators and business leaders adopt AI using a structured framework rather than trial and error, according to a press release, which noted that many businesses use AI without a clear way to evaluate its output or determine accountability when mistakes occur.
“Most operators evaluate their output against their own previous work, which is the lowest bar,” Covey said in the press release.
“Volume I,” available now on Amazon, focuses on helping people use AI more effectively in their day-to-day work. “Volume II,” scheduled for a July 20 release, shifts to organizational leadership and covers topics such as AI governance, deployment planning, and acceptable-use standards.
“J.R. has spent his career helping leaders see the patters they can’t see in themselves,” OneAccord CEO Nick Anderson said in the release. “This series takes that same discipling and applies it to the biggest operational blind spot most businesses have right now, which is how they’re actually using AI.”
