OneRedmond announced in a press release today that it’s inviting businesses and organizations to apply for the first edition of Redmond Spotlight 20.
The initiative is a new, annual recognition program looking to honor 20 businesses and organizations who are helping mold Redmond’s future through leadership, community engagement, education, and more, the release said, which noted that recognition will be spread across five categories: Building Redmond, Connecting Redmond, Inspiring Redmond, Growing Redmond, and Experiencing Redmond.
Applications are open now and will close on Aug. 24. The initiative’s inaugural class will be confirmed in September and subsequently highlighted during OneRedmond’s annual meeting, which is slated for Oct. 22.
“We know there are remarkable businesses and organizations making a difference across our community every day,” said OneRedmond’s chief executive officer, Kristina Hudson, in the release. “We encourage organizations of every size to share their stories so we can recognize the inaugural class of Redmond Spotlight 20 and celebrate the many ways they help shape Redmond’s future.”
