A stalled semitruck was blocking the entrance to the Hood Canal Bridge.

The truck was cleared after being stalled for more than an hour, KIRO Newsradio confirmed.

The vehicle was sitting on eastbound SR 104 just before the bridge deck and was blocking the only eastbound lane.

Westbound SR 104 had a 2- to 3-mile backup into Port Gamble. Northbound SR 3 was seeing a 5-mile backup.

WSDOT was alternating traffic at the east end of the Hood Canal Bridge.
