An area of Parkland is being told to evacuate now due to a large fire.

The area from 108th St. S to 111th St. S to Sheridan Ave. S. has been instructed to evacuate, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials noted the fire has been contained to that area, and deputies are assisting fire crews.
