Northbound I-5 in Bellingham fully reopens after 3-car crash; injuries reported

Northbound I-5 has fully reopened in Bellingham at Iowa St., milepost 253.

There was a three-car crash that resulted in injuries, Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Kelsey Harding reported on X around 4 p.m.

One of the cars rolled over and landed on its roof.

“Please be patient while troopers on scene investigate this collision,” Harding stated.

The backup spanned 3 miles to S Samish Way.
