Power restored for 6,000 customers in north Seattle and Shoreline

Thousands of Seattle City Light customers in North Seattle were without power early Friday morning.
The utility company reported an outage affecting more than 6,000 customers, with the cause still under investigation.

Just before 10:30 a.m. Friday, power was restored, an hour ahead of Seattle City Light’s estimated time.
