Foodies, get excited: Seattle Restaurant Week is back this month, with hundreds of participating restaurants and meals starting at $20.
The event was created to encourage diners to try new restaurants and explore the local food scene at a discounted price.
Popular restaurants such as La Fontana Siciliana, COMO, Harry’s Fine Foods, How to Cook a Wolf, and Shiro’s Sushi are offering Seattle Restaurant Week specials. Even cafes such as Dahlia Bakery and Cafe Campagne are participating.
On Seattle Restaurant Week’s website, diners can choose from a variety of filters to narrow down their preferences. Meals are priced at $20, $35, $50, and $65.
Seattle Restaurant Week extends to nearby cities, supports community meals
Restaurants in nearly every Seattle neighborhood are participating in the event.
Those outside Seattle can join in as well, with deals at restaurants in Bothell, Burien, Edmonds, Everett, Issaquah, Kent, Kirkland, Lynnwood, Mercer Island, Mukilteo, Redmond, Renton, SeaTac, Snohomish, Tukwila, and Woodinville.
Some restaurants are also participating in Give a Meal, donating proceeds from a menu item to support free meals for communities facing food insecurity through Good Food Kitchens or other community kitchens.
Diners can sign up for a digital Give a Meal Passport and check in at participating locations Oct. 18-28 for a chance to win two tickets to the James Beard Foundation’s Taste America Seattle event on Nov. 1. More check-ins mean more chances to win, with the drawing scheduled for Oct. 29.
Seattle Restaurant Week continues beyond the giveaway period, running Oct. 18-31.
