11 injured in work bus, semi-truck crash on SR 24 near Othello

Eleven people were injured in a “critical incident” after a work bus and semi-truck collision on SR 24 near Othello Thursday morning.
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) reported the collision at approximately 7 a.m., roughly 20 miles west of Othello.
The roadway is currently blocked near milepost 53.
WSP noted that 11 people have been transported to local hospitals at this time, though there have been no updates on the severity of their injuries.
Officials advised people to avoid the area as WSP troopers continue investigating.
Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
