A Northwest comic book company is bringing Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump to the world of comic books. The company will soon release a Trump comic titled, “Donald Trump: The Road to the White House.”

The comic book is expected to be released as an e-book on Nov. 2, less than a week before the election. A print version can be ordered on ComicFleamarket.com. It is published by Storm Entertainment, which is no stranger to the Northwest. The company is based in Portland, and previously published a comic book about Seattle Seahawk Russell Wilson.

The Trump comic book is actually a sequel to a previous release by Storm — “Political Power: Donald Trump.” It 25-page comic book is written by Michael Frizell, with art by Nathan Webb.

Only a handful of pages from the comic have been released as a preview. From the few frames available, it seems that the main character — an undecided voter in a Republican-dominated state — is engaged in his family and work life at the start of the comic. But he becomes darkly entrenched in media coverage of Trump, his controversial comments and the flurry of events amid the election season.

While the Trump comic includes actually quotes from the candidate — from his comments on women to war veterans — Storm announced that the book is not a negative publication. Storm mandates that its writers produce comics that “skew positive,” according to a press release.

Storm has also printed comics about Trump’s Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton — at least four comics, in fact, including “Hillary Clinton: Road to the White House.” And Storm isn’t finished. It has also planned comic books to feature Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate Time Kaine, Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Michael Pence, Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren, and Alexander Hamilton (he’s on the $10 bill).
