BuzzFeed lost on behalf of the national mainstream media.

There is no one more tied into the Washington D.C. animal than BuzzFeed editor-in-chief Ben Smith. He and the Politico guys who started BuzzFeed are invited to every single party in Washington D.C. And they were serving the masters they always serve, which is the big power Democrats, by leading all the rumor-mongering on Trump recently. We then sat back and watched the entire BuzzFeed story fall apart.

The news, for the mainstream media, is that there is a new theory of media. Donald Trump was the first person to bring it to Republican politics. The “lay down and take it” Republicans are no longer present.

The last chance the mainstream media had to maintain their credibility was the last election and they so overshot their target by how they went after Trump. They lost all credibility. Newsrooms should immediately find Pro-Trump reporters. The stations and papers don’t have to become Pro-Trump, but they need regain some form of credibility.

And media, you are probably better read than Trump; you almost certainly have a better grasp on the how the government functions than he does. But you should stop thinking that you are smarter than Trump. You are bclowning yourself, and you are beclowning the nation by weakening belief in any media. And that is a big problem for our republic.

As always, please listen to the full audio clip for complete context.
