Ross and Burbank listener Barb has been job hunting with the help of Workplace 911‘s Bob Rosner for nearly two months. Rosner promised Dave and Luke that he could get one listener a job in under 60 days. Barb was chosen from a group of listener applicants to get his assistance.

With the deadline only a week away, Barb is part way there. She’s secured some steady freelance work that has the potential to grow to full time.

“Initially it’s going to be anywhere from 20 to 30 hours a week,” says Barb. “If they decide I am a good fit, there’s the potential for me to join them.”

Barb says she’s pleased to be working but hopes to find a position that is full-time and a little more challenging.

“It’s not necessarily the brain challenge I was looking for, but it’s good work and nice people. So I am with them until I find something that really blows my skirt up.”

Bob says Barb is a completely different person than the woman he met when they began the job hunt and he thinks she’s in a strong position to get where she wants to be.

When Dave asked if they believe Barb can find everything she’s looking for in a challenging, full-time position by the Thanksgiving deadline.

Barb says she’s still confident she can. Bob says, “Yes she will.”
