MSNBC reports they’ve confirmed a video diary that surfaced on YouTube is Casey Anthony. In the video she doesn’t mention her court case or her late daughter Caylee.
“It’s incredibly banal. It’s like most videos you’ll find on the internet,” said 97.3 KIRO FM Ross and Burbank Show host Luke Burbank.
“But this is a banal video by somebody who everybody thinks killed her child,” said co-host Dave Ross.

Casey Anthony’s daughter Caylee was the focus of a wide-ranging search after her disappearance in June 2008. Casey Anthony told police that a fictitious babysitter had kidnapped the child. The 25-year-old told the same story to her family until the child’s skeletal remains were found in the woods in December 2008 not far from the Anthony family home.
During the trial over the summer, Casey’s attorneys told jurors the child accidentally drowned in the family pool.
Anthony was found not guilty of murder charges in the highly publicized trial. But Anthony was convicted of four charges of lying to police. She is somewhere in Florida serving a year of probation on a separate check fraud conviction. Authorities are keeping her whereabouts confidential for her safety.
Anthony’s acquittal caused a national uproar, with people expressing their displeasure with the verdict.
This video is the first the public has heard from Anthony since her acquittal.
“If you watch the video,” said Burbank. “It’s hard to not think the whole time, well we’re glad you’ve got your web cam working on your laptop, but we still all think you killed your baby.”
