70-something football foes brawl over play from nearly 50 years ago

You would think that time heals all wounds…especially a 50 year old dispute over a football game. But a couple of old Canadian football players clearly have a hard time giving up a grudge, as the 70-somethings got into a brawl at an alumni luncheon, reportedly at odds over a football play from 1963.
There’s been bad blood between 73-year-old former QB Joe Kapp and 73-year-old former defensive tackle Angelo Mosca ever since the 1963 Grey Cup (the frozen equivalent of the Super Bowl) over a late hit by Mosca that knocked a star running back from Kapp’s BC Lions out of the game.
The Canadian Press reports the brawl broke out after Kapp “offered Mosca flowers as a symbolic peace offering. The sentiment was refused by Mosca and punches were reportedly thrown.”
