Don O’Neill claims he hasn’t played softball in nearly 20 years, so in preparation for his appearance in the 2013 All-Star Softball Classic for Homeless Youth this Saturday at Safeco Field, we thought it would be a good idea for him to touch up on his skills.

Don will team up with Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate, SuperSonics legend Gary Payton and other Seattle sports legends and celebrities at Safeco Field this Saturday, to help raise awareness for the thousands of homeless youth living in King County. Click here to check out the rosters.

All proceeds from the game will create and sustain programs for youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness. In addition to a nail-biter six-inning game, there will be giveaways, live player interviews, a silent auction and videos from youth, plus a live concert with The Young Evils immediately following the game.

Get your tickets today at UnitedWayofKingCounty.org/Softball and make a difference in the lives of homeless youth.

A special thanks to Sarah McEnroe from our promotions department, a former collegiate softball player for Western Washington University, who helped Don prepare for the big game, along with the Seattle Mariners for letting us practice on the field.
