I-5 lane closures expected through Thursday

Through Thursday, southbound I-5 will be reduced to one lane between Boylston Avenue E. and Mercer Street. The Boylston on-ramp to SB I-5 will also be closed.

At 10 p.m. nightly crews will close the I-5 off-ramp to Mercer Street.

All lanes will reopen by 4:30 a.m. each morning. All ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. each morning.

From Thursday night through Saturday at 4:30 a.m., southbound I-5 will be reduced to two lanes between Boylston Avenue East and Mercer Street.

Crews will be replacing overhead signs that have updated messaging that are easier to see at night.
