Loyal Heights, Phinney Ridge, Wallingford, Madison Park and Roosevelt are the top Seattle neighborhoods for 2012 Trick or Treaters, according to a Zillow survey.
The fourth annual Trick-or-Treat Index rated Seattle No. 4 in the top 20 cities around the country to get the best Halloween loot and the top five neighborhoods within city
While there is a common belief that wealthy neighborhoods are the best for harvesting the most Halloween candy, Zillow used a different approach to compile its data. The Trick-or-Treat Index used four equally weighted data variables: Zillow Home Value Index, population density, Walk Score and local crime data from Relocation Essentials.
Based on those variables, the Index represents cities that will provide the most candy, with the least walking and safety risks.
