Block my car in ‘protest’ and I will personally arrest you

The lawlessness of Seattle is already getting people shot in gang wars, beaten and shot in their homes during home invasion robberies. Soon, it is going to get someone killed when they decide to block traffic while the leftist-politicians posing as actual cops in Seattle stand by and watch.

I don’t want that to happen, I don’t want to see people hurt — not ever. Yet, when that does happen — and it will — I will blame Seattle’s failed mayor, Jenny Durkan and King County’s impotent lawyer, Dan Satterberg. I know how I will react if — God forbid — it is my car these selfish, whining, smelly babies of The Left decide to block. I will arrest them in a Citizen’s Arrest and the law — as well as morality — will be on my side.

The Law

Blocking traffic is a clear violation of the law in Washington state. To be precise, it’s Disorderly Conduct.

RCW 9A.84.030(c) states: one is guilty of Disorderly Conduct if one:

Intentionally obstructs vehicular or pedestrian traffic without lawful authority

RCW 9A.84.030(2) states:

Disorderly conduct is a misdemeanor

The designation of blocking the roadway as a misdemeanor is important, as I will explain, below.

A Citizen’s Arrest

Under Washington law, according to a 2005 DOL Memo, a private person can conduct a citizen’s arrest for a misdemeanor if the misdemeanor:

(1) was committed in the citizen’s presence and

(2) constituted a breach of the peace. State v. Gonzales, 24 Wn. App. 437, 439,

604 P.2d 168 (1979); Guijosa v. Wal-Mart Stores, 101 Wn. App. 777, 791, 6 P.3d

583 (2000).

If the politicians wearing badges refuse to enforce the law, we will have to step in

If you perform this stunt and expect me to sit patiently while you break the law and harm lives, you will be in for a shock. I will call 911, explain that I am witnessing a misdemeanor act of Disorderly Conduct as per RCW 9A.84.030(c), that said conduct is clearly and objectively Breaching The Peace. I will tell the 911 dispatchers who I am, what I am wearing and whether or not I am legally concealing one of my firearms on that day. I will make sure that I explain I will not set out to hurt anyone, but I will go make a Citizen’s Arrest. The law will be on my side — though I already know the language of the law does not matter to Seattle politicians or our radical, so-called Attorney General — and morality will be on my side.

Yes, morality is on the side of dragging these people off the street

Protesting is beautiful, it is American, it is sacred, and I have done it and will again. Blocking the roadway is immoral, illegal, selfish, and aggressive.

The last time seven people decided to chain themselves together, lay down in the street and “obstruct vehicular or pedestrian traffic without lawful authority,” they hurt people’s lives. They harmed their businesses, their ability to be on time for a job interview and, according to KIRO Radio traffic reporter, Chris Sullivan, their actions caused a woman physical pain.

Here’s how it played out. The seven protesters, with locked arms and several “protectors” simply lied down in the middle of Fourth Avenue. Within minutes, Fourth Avenue was backed up a mile-and-a-half well into SoDo.  Buses were stopped and riders were forced to get out and walk.  One woman told KING 5 that she was forced to limp up the hill to an appointment at Haborview Medical Center.

Another woman actually inched through the fringes of the group as protesters jumped on her car. Eventually, the protest backed up both directions of I-5 and westbound I-90.  The Washington State Patrol was forced to close at least one downtown exit.  Access to Harborview was more than difficult.  The group left Fourth Ave. and James Street at about 10:45 a.m. and marched up to Fifth and Stewart where they camped out again.

A dare:

I dare any one of the politicians posing as cops to explain to me why I should put up with lawlessness. If they say I must, then I will dare them to tell me why anyone should follow the law, since its optional for the whiny, smelly, malcontent base of permanent adolescents that defines who runs Seattle.
