Former Husky, World Series star, anchored downtown

Tim Lincecum, the two-time National League Cy Young Award
winner who led the San Francisco Giants to the 2010 World
Series title, agreed to a two-year contract worth $40.5
million earlier this year.

Lincecum, who starred at Liberty Senior School near the
Renton-Issaquah border before moving on to the University
of
Washington, was said to have mulled the deal in his 3,073-
square-foot Belltown condo on the 28th floor of the
Escala,
a Seattle downtown condominium tower.

Nicknamed “The Freak” for his size and pitching style,
Lincecum can show visitors the views of the Space Needle
and
Husky Stadium from his deck and several interior rooms.
The
unit has three bedrooms, two and one-half baths and 24-
hour
security.

Lincecum is expected to stop by and pick up his
mail when the Giants visit the Mariners for a three-game
set
in June.
