A new study released by Commercial Real Estate Women Network shows that the percentage of females in the commercial real estate field is higher than ever.
However, researchers also note that females continue to lag their male counterparts in terms of pay and holding top posts.
Titled Women in Commercial Real Estate: 2010, the report is a five-year follow-up to a study that examined issues of women and men in commercial real estate released in 2005.
The new study found that women currently comprise 43 percent of the field’s labor force, an increase from 36 percent in 2005.
