Former John L. Scott executive to lead Missouri Realtors

Russ Cofano, former vice president and general counsel for John L. Scott Real Estate, has been named CEO of the Missouri Association of Realtors. He starts his new role June 15.

Prior to joining John L. Scott, Cofano practiced real estate law for two decades, managed the Washington Realtors Legal Hotline and served as an instructor for WAR continuing education courses. Cofano is regarded as a legal expert on multiple listing service and real estate intellectual property issues and has been a key contributor to important real estate legislation.

The Missouri Association is the largest trade association in the state and one of its most powerful political lobbying organizations.
