Service for the 1 Line light rail trains has been restored Tuesday morning from Star Lake to Federal Way Downtown after it was down for roughly two hours.
According to Sound Transit, the trains were disrupted due to a “signal issue” that first happened at approximately 5 a.m. Tuesday. The specifics of the disruption are unknown as of this reporting, but Sound Transit can confirm it was not due to copper wire theft.
Travelers and commuters can visit Sound Transit’s website to see alternative travel options.
