The State Route 520 Bridge path for pedestrians and cyclists finally has an opening date.
The path that runs the length of the bridge will open Dec. 20, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The path currently stops in the middle of Lake Washington.
This 14-foot-wide path is one of the last pieces of the new floating bridge to open to the public.
