NB I-405 ramp to EB I-90 in Bellevue reopens hours after semi carrying garbage overturned

The northbound I-405 ramp to eastbound I-90 in Bellevue has been reopened following a semi-truck carrying garbage that overturned on the roadway.
The semi overturned at approximately 4:20 a.m. and took roughly five hours to clear, as cleanup was expected to take an extended period, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced.

Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Rick Johnson confirmed that no one was injured in the collision.

In an update, WSDOT announced that the southbound I-405 off-ramp to eastbound I-90 had reopened, but at the time, the northbound I-405 ramp to eastbound I-90 remained closed.
Tow trucks were on the scene around 6:30 a.m., and crews were removing trash from the ramp.

Officials advised travelers to expect delays throughout the area and seek alternate routes.
