All lanes on southbound I-5 south of Bridgeport reopened after crash

A significant crash occurred early Wednesday morning on southbound I-5, causing delays for morning commuters in the Lakewood area.
The accident happened south of Bridgeport, at the north end of Joint Base Lewis–McChord (JBLM). It first happened around 5:15 a.m.

As many as three southbound and one northbound lane were closed due to the crash. All lanes in either direction are now open on southbound I-5, as of 9 a.m.
There is currently a six-mile backup in place on I-5. Drivers are being told to avoid the area if possible.
