Evergreen Way is back open after being closed in both directions following a fatal crash, confirmed KIRO Newsradio.

According to the Everett Police Department (EPD) via Facebook, two cars collided with a motorcycle at approximately 12 p.m. Thursday in South Everett at the corner of Southwest Everett Mall Way and Evergreen Way.

EPD reported one person died in the crash. Everett Police had shut down Evergreen Way near the 10400 block as they investigated the crash further.

Drivers were being asked to avoid the area.
