All lanes of northbound I-5 in Federal Way are back open after a multi-vehicle crash.

A three-vehicle collision involving an attenuator truck was blocking the four right lanes of northbound I-5 at South 272nd Street in Federal Way.

Washington State Patrol, emergency crews, and Incident Response teams were at the scene of the collision at approximately 3 p.m., the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced.

Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Rick Johnson noted that the WSDOT attenuator truck was on the shoulder protecting guardrail repairs when it was hit. No one was in the truck at the time of the collision.
