The ramp from northbound Interstate 5 to State Route 167 in Pierce County is fully blocked because of an overturned dump truck.

Commuters who need to access SR-167 from I-5 can use the Portland Avenue exit.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the back-left tire of the trailer ruptured, causing the driver to lose control.

The truck spilled dirt all over the ramp.

A tow truck has arrived and is removing the truck.

The ramp will likely be closed for about another hour, according to the state patrol.
