Old Highway 99, between 93rd Avenue Southeast and 88th Avenue Southeast, has been closed off due to a fatal collision early Friday morning, the Thurston County Sheriff confirmed.

The accident occurred near the Olympia airport.

Drivers have been advised to use alternate routes. It is unknown when Old Highway 99 will reopen.
