All lanes have reopened on northbound I-5 in Ridgefield after a semi-truck rolled over and blocked off the roadway.

At approximately 7:40 a.m., a semi-truck rolled over on NB I-5 at Milepoint 18, south of the East Fork Lewis River Bridge in Ridgefield.

More than two and a half hours later, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) confirmed that all lanes had reopened.

“We appreciate everyone’s patience while crews worked to clear the highway,” WSDOT stated.

At around 9:30 a.m., WSDOT crews were working to remove the overturned semi from the roadway, with no estimated time for reopening.

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) noted the delays began at 7:39 a.m. and advised using alternate routes until further notice.

WSDOT initially noted there was no estimated time for the roadway to be cleared, with no detours available.

Travelers were urged to avoid the area entirely and seek alternate routes.
