Seattle taking away parking during viaduct closure

Seattle is detouring nearly 90,000 commuters to alternate routes through the city during the two-week Alaskan Way Viaduct closure. The plan will put police officers at key chokepoints to direct traffic. It will also remove parking along heavily trafficked streets to increase capacity.
