Sound Transit’s 1-line service has evening disruptions planned through Seattle

Late-night passengers on Sound Transit’s (ST) 1-line will have to switch to ST buses through Seattle beginning Tuesday evening. Scheduled maintenance will suspend service between Capitol Hill and SODO stations through Thursday.

November 18 to 20, starting as early as 9:40 p.m. until the end of service, shuttle buses will replace 1 Line trains between Capitol Hill and SODO, running every 10 minutes, while trains will still run between SODO and Angle Lake and from Lynnwood to Capitol Hill, running every 15 minutes.

Sound Transit laid out a full schedule:

  • At Capitol Hill Station, passengers must board trains on the northbound/Lynnwood platform from Nov. 18 to 20.
  • At SODO Station, passengers must board trains on the southbound/Angle Lake platform on Nov. 18.
  • At SODO Station, passengers must board trains on the northbound/Lynnwood platform from Nov. 19 to 20.

Angle Lake to Lynnwood: The last train to Lynnwood will depart Angle Lake at 9:41 p.m. After this train, passengers traveling toward Lynnwood must catch a shuttle bus from SODO to Capitol Hill.

Lynnwood to Angle Lake: The last train to Angle Lake will depart Lynnwood at 10:12 p.m. After this train, passengers traveling toward Angle Lake must catch a shuttle bus from Capitol Hill to SODO.

Capitol Hill
– to Angle Lake: Broadway & E Denny Way – Bay 4.

Westlake
– to Lynnwood: 3rd Ave & Pine St.
– to Angle Lake: Pine St & 5th Ave.

Symphony
– to Lynnwood: 3rd Ave & Union St.
– to Angle Lake: 3rd Ave & Union St.

Pioneer Square
– to Lynnwood: 3rd Ave & James St.
– to Angle Lake: 3rd Ave & James St.

Int’l Dist/Chinatown
– to Lynnwood: 4th Ave S & S Jackson St.
– to Angle Lake: 5th Ave S & S Jackson St.

Stadium
– to Lynnwood: SODO Busway & S Royal Brougham Way.
– to Angle Lake: SODO Busway & S Royal Brougham Way.

SODO
– to Lynnwood: SODO Busway & S Lander St.
