SR 104 in Jefferson County is fully blocked due to a brush fire, Washington State Patrol Trooper Katherine Weatherwax reported Thursday at 4:19 p.m.

The brush fire is approximately 30 feet by 40 feet.

Weatherwax said the fire could have possibly been started by a vehicle with a tire issue.

“Fire is being contained quickly. Roadway should be open shortly,” Weatherwax stated.

This is a developing story, check back for updates.
