SR 18 reopens fully after truck carrying 80K pounds of potatoes overturned on highway

The westbound lanes of SR 18, near milepost 24, have reopened after a truck carrying 80,000 pounds of potatoes tipped over.
The lanes were initially shut down just after 10 a.m., reopening at approximately 11:30 a.m.
“80k pounds of potatoes!!” Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson wrote on X. “The WB lanes will need to be shut down once the tow arrives.”
The accident happened on Tiger Mountain, near the summit.
No injuries were reported in the crash. The driver of the truck will be cited, according to Johnson, but it is unclear with what statute, as of this reporting.
