Semi-truck hauling 40,000 pounds of bananas tips over at Tiger Mountain Summit

A collision on State Route 18 (SR 18) at Tiger Mountain Summit in Issaquah has led to the right westbound lane being blocked.

The collision involved a semi-truck hauling 40,000 pounds of bananas. The truck tipped over and is now blocking the right lane near milepost 24. According to WSDOT, the truck has to be unloaded before it can be righted.

Washington State Patrol (WSP) and an incident response team have responded to the scene. WSDOT reported it may take a while to clear. Drivers in the area should expect delays.
